The exchange rate for Euro (EUR) to Czech koruna (CZK) was approx. 1 : 24.
Regular and student conference fee included access to the scientific program, accommodation in a double room (4 nights), full board, coffee breaks, welcome reception, conference dinner, and excursion.

Bus transfer was arranged by the organizers: departure at 14:00 May 4, 2026 from FZU (Pod vodárenskou věží); arrival to Prague (FZU): on May 8, 2026 at 17:00. The FZU spot is conveniently located close to the Ládví metro station.
Transport from Prague Airport to FZU
Public transport
There are trolleybus stops situated directly in front of both airport terminals. Take trolleybus 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín, then take metro to Muzeum station (7 stops). Then change to metro line C to Ládví station (6 stops) and take the E2 exit. The institute is then approx. 7 minutes walk (see the map below). The whole journey can be made within 1 hour.
Prague public transport is fast, efficient and frequent. Basic fare of 50 CZK (approx. 2 EUR) entitles the holder to use all means of public transport for up to 90 minutes including unlimited number of changes. Kids up to 14 years travel for free. The ticket must be validated using a yellow box while entering the first bus or tram, or while first entering designated area in metro. After validation, just keep the ticket with you.
Tickets can be purchased at:
- Public Transport counters in Arrivals Halls of Terminals 1 & 2 (from 7 AM till 9 PM).
- Ticket machines situated at the airport bus stops. The machines accept cash or card payment.
- In the city, tickets can be purchased at newsagents, tobacconists, hotel receptions, ticket machines in metro entrance areas etc.
Taxi
The journey from the airport to FZU (Pod vodárenskou věží) takes approx. half an hour and should cost around 700 CZK. The taxi rank of the official airport company (Uber) is situated directly in front of the airport terminal.
Transport from Main Railway Station to FZU
Metro is probably the fastest way to reach FZU, the entrance is located within the main hall. Just take the metro to Ládví station (5 stops, approx. 10 minutes). Use the exit E2 and follow the map to reach FZU (Pod vodárenskou věží).
Basic fare of 39 CZK entitles the holder to use the metro for 30 minutes. The ticket must be validated using a yellow box while entering designated area in metro.
