The abstract should be a one page (A4) Microsoft Word document in a *.doc or *.rtf format, Arial font type, font sizes: title 14pt, other text 12pt. It may also include figures. The deadline for the registration and abstract submission was February 29, 2012. For further information about the deadlines please see the Deadlines section.
There will be two types of oral presentations - long oral (invited, 40 minutes including discussion) and short oral (20 minutes including discussion).
Standard facilities are available for oral presentations: conference PC laptop computer with Microsoft Windows operating system, data projector and laser pointer. The following presentation file formats are supported:
In exceptional cases, your own laptop can be used.
Hint: Consider providing your PowerPoint presentation in a PPS format so that it starts automatically as a slide show.
The poster boards are 100 cm wide and 120 cm high (including edging frame) so the maximum poster size is approx. 96 × 116 cm. Please do not use self-adhesive tapes or Velcro which will not work. Pins will be available on site.
All posters will be displayed throughout the whole duration of the Workshop. There will be two poster sessions on Wednesday (afternoon coffee break) and Thursday (morning coffee break).
