Information for presenters

Instructions for speakers

Please think to keep 25 percent of the allocated time for questions.

  1. On-site speakers:
    Standard facilities will be available for oral presentations:
    • conference notebook (PC) with Windows operating system,
    • data projector,
    • laser pointer.
    For your presentation, you will be asked to use the conference notebook. Please provide your presentation file well in advance before you session. On the conference notebook, the following presentation file formats are supported:
    • PDF files,
    • PowerPoint files (PPS, PPSX, PPT, or PPTX).

  2. Technical advice for remote speakers:
    • presenters should have as good internet connection as possible
    • presenters please make sure to connect to webmeeting before "your" session, so that the moderator can see that you are ready
    • before your presentation, the moderator will enable the possibility to share the screen for you; only after that you can activate the sharing. Then go to your presentation, activate presentation mode, and switch on the laser pointer in the 'pointer options' menu if use PowerPoint
    • presenters with special requests (e.g. you have sounds as part of your presentation) please contact us beforehand (by Monday).

Details for poster presentations

The poster boards were of the A0 format (84 cm wide and 120 cm high). Pins were available on site. All poster presenters were asked to hang their posters on Tuesday.
